Making Your Visions Bigger

Would you ever settle for second best? Would you achieve a goal and then be perfectly happy to have reached it knowing that you could have gone so much further than you actually did?

Why would you impose limitations on yourself?

Being on a journey isn't only about the journey and the getting there. It's also about what you do when you reach the end of that journey and how you allow the changes you've made in yourself to impact on your gift of imagination and vision, and affirm your determination to be the best that you can be. It's about who you become as a person on that journey.

After all, if you reached your goal and then stayed there, what would be the incentive for anyone else to reach that goal? There would be nothing left to change, nothing more to learn, and nowhere else to explore.

That's the reason it's so important to give yourself the freedom to develop even further. To achieve a goal or to reach the end of one journey and then set yourself the challenge of taking it as far as you can go.

And each time you reach an objective you have that choice again, to set your sight on that horizon.

There is always another horizon. There is always a higher level of achievement.

And you can meet the challenge of aiming for that horizon and that higher goal by never restricting your imagination and vision or imposing limitations on yourself.

You are as free as a bird. You can soar as high as you want and you can fly as far ahead as you can see, because there will always be a space ahead of you to fly towards.

It takes courage. It means facing the fear that you might not be able to go any further, and still carrying on. It means pushing yourself to your limits, and even though it seems difficult at times. You know you can do it because you've pushed yourself to the limit before and you broke through into a more rarefied air.

You need never settle for second best, because you know you can aim higher.

There is always clear air ahead of you. Allow yourself to have bigger visions.
